Welcome!

My name is Claire, and I have a deep passion for all things film! From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the art of creating videos, whether through crafting quirky music videos on my phone or assembling narratives, both real and fictional. I’ve always been inspired by the limitless worlds that can be brought to life through film and video, and I aim to use these mediums to inspire and connect with others.

This video was produced by the 2024 intern cohort of Indigo Slate's Internship Program to promote the internship brand of the company. I contributed to the project by assisting with storyboarding and acting as a DP to capture various shots throughout our office. Additionally, I edited the video and incorporated engaging sound effects and graphics created by my fellow interns to establish an upbeat urgency to the video. This project allowed me to explore my creativity while adhering to the brand guidelines for the internship program.

During my internship at Indigo Slate, I edited blooper reels for various seasons of Microsoft's Cloud Culture series. My manager entrusted me with the responsibility of reviewing the footage and selecting the best moments from each season. I received constructive feedback from several members of the video team, which I implemented to enhance the final product. This project not only equipped me with new technical skills, such as organizing footage and managing stringouts and timelines, but also highlighted the significance of feedback and the continual process of refining one’s work.

Coordinated and managed schedules, budgets, props and more, meeting deadlines and vision goals in a timely and efficient manner. Edited 3 scenes, contributing to seamless transitions, pacing, and storytelling techniques. Recognized for excellence in post-production with the Best Editing Award at the Fox Film Festival.

After his father ends up in a coma, two brothers fight to keep his memory alive through the art of music. A freshman film project that I was brought onto as editor. We had a very short deadline which helped strengthen my time management skills. This project helped me grow as an editor from a creative and technical aspect.

Charlie's stuck reliving the same day over and over but... he loves it. He's perfectly content frozen in time, that is until he meets Elizabeth. My Role: Editor I edited and refined this acclaimed student film, emphasizing mood and tone through precise cuts, color grading, and sound integration. Earned accolades such as Best Editing and People's Choice at the Fox Film Festival, highlighting its creative vision brought to life.

This mini doc explores college students' relationship to caffeine. I edited this project for my documentary class. I enjoyed playing with the documentary style. It was exciting to navigate how to create a story out of all the interviews we conducted with students and staff around campus.
